"I have a couple of things in mind when I design a new design: I try to get the blade as far into the handle as possible, I want to have a pleasant feel when I hold the knife and for it to look good-it has to have character. The Phoenix embodies all these characteristics. It has great ergonomics and it's also ... sexy!"

“My creative process is easy for the most part because I am a part time maker so it has to be just about having fun. As far as the design, I focus mainly on flowing lines and ergonomics. So hopefully my knives look good and are really functional and comfortable. Inspiration can come from anywhere and mostly where you don’t expect it... Popular culture, contemporary art, movies… There is no limit!”.
