GURKHA

A Gurkha is a soldier hailing from the mountainous region of Nepal, renowned for their courage, steadfastness, and prowess in combat. Originally, Gurkhas were part of a light infantry regiment in the British Army called the "Gurkha Regiment". The Gurkhas' reputation has been built over generations of military service, demonstrating valor and dedication on the battlefield in many parts of the world.
Gurkhas have become famous for their distinctive use of the traditional combat knife, called the "khukuri", which has become a symbol of their identity and martial skill. Today, Gurkhas continue to serve in the British Army and in other armies worldwide, known for their loyalty, fighting spirit, and proficiency in close combat.
